The Teeter® DEX™ decompression & extension™ provides an inversion platform on which the users body bends 90° at the knees and 90° at the waist. The 90/90 position is the optimum position for decompression of the spine, as well as maximizes muscle performance during back extensions.
Improving upon the traditional roman chair, this unique design actually reduces the load on the hamstrings and helps to prevent hyperextension by placing the knees in the relaxed 90° position, rather than forcing less-effective, straight-legged exercises.
